These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of X-Me AI (the "Service"), operated via x-me.ai. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

X-Me AI provides AI-generated avatar videos from text you supply. Features, avatars, voices, and languages may change, be added, or be discontinued at any time.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have verifiable parental or guardian consent, to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• One account per person unless we approve otherwise; you may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create avatars or videos of real, identifiable people without their consent, or impersonate any person or entity.
• Produce deceptive content — including deepfakes intended to defraud, defame, manipulate elections, or spread misinformation.
• Generate unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content, or content exploiting minors in any form.
• Infringe intellectual property rights, or upload scripts you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to disrupt the Service, probe its security, or use it to train competing models by automated scraping.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, without prior notice where the violation is serious.

4. Your content and generated videos

• You retain ownership of the text/scripts you provide and the videos you generate. Videos you create may be used for commercial purposes.
• You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. You are solely responsible for reviewing generated videos before publishing and for complying with labeling/disclosure laws for synthetic media in your jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions and payments

• Some features require a paid subscription, billed in advance on a recurring basis.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for prolonged inactivity, and may delete associated data after termination subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR US$100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
